First Reunion- Feedback

Paivi Aljamaa - Estonia
The start of the project was so efficient. If it goes on the same way we can get great help to improve the situation in our schools. The students’ active participation was amazing. It shows that school is important for them. If the parents are as involved as the students the final result will be satisfaction for all the parts.
The organization was great. Mariana and Laura had done hard work for the success of the meeting. Thank you and your students for your hospitality. We felt more than at home; wonderful hotel, museums, dinner, bus tickets.

Anar Pajula- Estonia
The project was really good. I like the Romanian people very much. I realized that the project was necessary because it helps us find interesting answers and that’s very good. These 3 days were very exciting, I saw very many new things and this makes me very happy. I liked this project and this trip very much. It was a great experience.
Best wishes!

Maris Laats- Estonia
This project is very well organized. It was interesting to see how the groups worked: pupils and teachers –together. It was fantastic team work! Thanks to all of you. Everything was fine. We worked hard and enjoyed it! Now we can go on…
Thanks!

Nilufer Sani Turkey
“I have very positive opinions about this project. Being here in Romania, learning different kind of things is really nice. We experienced different things, for example the food. We ate traditional Romanian food. I want to thank you for your hospitality. Although we have different kind of lifestyles, religions, traditions, we proved that we can live together in harmony.”

Suheyla Bozer- Turkey
“The project was nice and interesting. We found out about the problems of Romanian students with their families. In fact most of us have the same problems in Turkey. Romanian people are warm. I liked your town, I ate traditional Romanian food. Thank you for everything.”

Mehmet Yildirim- Turkey
“School, family and the students are three main important things for Education. To make them work in harmony is the problem (as we saw in this project). We worked hard here with the students and the teachers but missed the parents. I think in Turkey that part will participate much. I appreciate all the efforts of Mariana, Laura, Turkish team and the Estonian team. Thanks God for letting us remember once again that we are all human beings although we have different religions, cultures etc.”

Betul Uzun- Turkey
“This project is my second project and I am so happy to be here because it is very important for us. It was really interesting for me. I learned lots of things and I ate different food. Romanian people are friendly and warm. Thank you for everything.”

Dora Ghita XI C
“It was a wonderful experience for me, a first of this kind. The fact that our opinions can make a difference, the fact that we, the students had something to say is very important. We are the future of this community and it is our duty to solve existing problems. Together with our teachers and involving the local community we can find solutions, improve our society and become better persons. All over the world we face difficulties but together we can overcome them and we can eliminate future problems.”

Vlad Barzanu XI C
“You have chosen wisely this theme that I consider very actual and important. I`m thankful for being offered this great opportunity to meet new people, to get in touch with different cultures, to express myself freely and to learn so many things about me and the society that surrounds us. Congratulations, teachers, for a great job and thank you. Looking forward to attending other similar activities.”

Cimpean Mioara- XI C

“In my opinion friendship is the most important thing in a humans’ life because a person without friends is like a soul without love. During these days I’ve got in touch with new people, new cultures and also new opinions. We’ve talked about school, parents and students and it was an interesting subject. I’m very happy to take part in this project. Thousands of congratulations for the teachers involved in the project.”

Ana Susca- XI C
“During these three days as a team we have created a great atmosphere and this project was a great opportunity for all of us to improve our English and our knowledge about the relationship between students, school, and family. So the activities were interactive and of course constructive. We’ve got deeply into understanding nowadays problems and the fact that we got closer to the people from other countries made me feel as there were no differences between us.”

Sanziana Lascu - XC
For me this is the first project in this school and I’m very excited that I could take part in it. It was great to spend all the time with the girls from Turkey. I learned a lot of new things these days. Teachers were nice with us and for me it was very important that after this project I realized how important it is to communicate with my parents and my teachers and how important it is the relation between me, my family and school. At the final of the project I can say that I’m very happy because I met peoples from Estonia and Turkey and we did a great job.

Florina Fanea - X E
It was the second experience for me, and both of them taught me interesting things. The girl from Turkey was so beautiful, intelligent and their culture impressed me a lot. The teachers were very friendly and they have a very special relationship with their students. This project showed me that the relationship between school and parents is very important and useful. I had a great time with the all teams; we stayed together all the time. This project was even greater than the other one and I will work hard and I hope I’ll go to Turkey. This project was a work team and we achieved great things.

Silvia Pricope X C
These days were very interesting, useful, beautiful because we met new people, children. This project was useful for me and for the students from the National College “Mihai Eminescu”. For me, this was the first project which impressed me very much because we could express our opinions about the relationship between school and family.

Anda Luana Craciun XI B
I think that the first step in changing something is to believe because the belief gives us power. The project revealed the fact that we all - children, family and teachers- should be aware of the importance of education. The school is not just a simple institution. The school is a valuable instrument the shapes us, the children, in a proper way. There always has been a conflict between generations and this may be because of the problems in the teacher-child-family relationship. We hope that this project will make a better future for all of us.

Andreea Coman XC
It was a great project because it was my first project of this type. I liked very much the teams from Turkey and Estonia. It was very interesting because I found out new information and advice in how to make us better and to “teach” our parents to come to school to find about our situation. I learned that it is better to communicate with parents (more than I did until now!) because they want the best for us. I found that the relationship with our parents has to be based on communication, sincerity, trust, respect and than it will be easy for us to understand each other. In the behaviour with teachers I think it is proper to show to your teacher the respect that she/he deserves. I want to congratulate all the participants involved in this project beginning with the coordinator of this project Miss Laura Szebeni, to our English teacher, Mrs. Mariana Hudrea, to my form teacher Camelia Duta and to all teachers involved and especially to all the students who were involved. Thank you all for this opportunity to “make me better” and to meet new people from other countries. Thank you all and congratulation again! It was wonderful!

Paula Cin - X C
For me, this project was a very interesting experience. I liked it very much because we found out a lot of things about education in other countries , as Estonia and Turkey. The film that we saw was very interesting because we all saw what a beautiful country Turkey is and it made us want to visit this beautiful country with very sociable and friendly people and great customs. We are different, but we are facing the same problems. I found out the Estonian and Turkish students are facing the same problems as we do. The most important thing for me was that I realized that if we work in teams, we can solve many problems. Together we can change many things and we can find the right solution to solve the problems. I can say that I’m very happy because I met new people, students like us. The teachers were really great! I’m very glad we could communicate and express our point of view. For me this was the most interesting experience since I have been studying in this College, and for that I want to thank to Miss Laura Szebeni and Mrs. Mariana Hudrea. They are the best teachers in the world!

Dan Tecar - IX C
In my opinion this project was interesting and attractive too, because the subject was the friendship between parents and children. I liked very much the students from Estonia and Turkey because they were pretty and communicative. I’m also glad that I had the opportunity to meet Anar.

Maria Jeler - X C
These days were very beautiful and I think that what we did was useful for me and for our National Collage “ Mihai Eminescu”. I’m glad that we communicated with people from other countries like Estonia and Turkey. This project was the first project in which I took part and I’m very happy to meet new persons. Working in teams and training to solve our scholar problems was very interesting, we could share our opinion to our teachers. I felt great!

Lia Hoban- XI G
My name is Lia, I’m from the 11th form G and I want to say that I loved very much the topic of this project “School and Family”- these being the most important things in my life. All the people were very friendly and sociable. I like the idea of crossing barriers between cultures and different traditions. We must know that we live in a unique world and only if we communicate , if we change experiences and ideas we can make the first step towards a better life. Now I will appreciate more my family because it’s wonderful and I’m very proud of me and of my teachers. Thank you all! Lia Hoban, Romania, 11 G

Alexandra Crisan- XI C
It was a pleasure for me to participate in this project. Due to it, I managed to meet new people from Turkey and Estonia and, for the first time I didn’t feel alone. I’ve learned that, even from different parts of the world, we have the same problems and we are trying to solve them. I believe that, together, hand in hand, through communication, we can make a difference in the world.
Thank you for this great opportunity!!

Andreea Bindea- XI C
This is the second project in which I got involved and it was as beautiful and as interesting as the other one (with Italy).I’m so glad that I met so wonderful teachers and students. I realized that, even if we are so different in our culture and religion we have the same problems related to School & Family, but we have different ways to solve them. I think that we’ve learnt a lot one from another. Thank you very much!

Andreea Auer- XI C
I’m very glad that I finally decided to take part in one of the school’s projects and also that I had the chance to do it. It was a great opportunity for us. We had the chance to improve our skills in the field of team working and to get in contact with other cultures and mentalities.
The idea of getting other countries involved in our projects is really great. I found out that they have mostly the same problems as we do, and sincerely I was surprised by it. I have spent some great and constructive moments and I really want to thank you for this.

Mara Butuza- XI C
For me this was the first experience of this kind, but I have to confess that I liked it very much. I found this project very attractive and not at all boring! I realized that even though we speak different languages, we have different beliefs or we have different life styles; we all have the same problems regarding school and family. I came to the conclusion that communication is the key to all problems, because if we communicate, we express opinions about a problem and together we can find a solution.
I really hope that this project will have good results and I’m very happy that I took part in it.

Alexandra Vanci- XI C
It was my first experience of this kind and it didn’t disappoint me at all. I can’t deny that these days were a bit tiring; not as something negative, but as a result of our involvement.
I liked a lot the fact that I discovered how great it is to work together; that storm of ideas made me feel a lot more optimistic about humanity…so here I am talking about feelings. So, this project is a yin & yang formed from feelings and ideal – both- intense.
The other thing that stunned me was how easily I expressed myself without taking into account the thing that there were teachers with us, that we were practically different generations. It felt like being one. Thank you.

Adina Pop – XI B
This was my first project of this kind. These days were excellent, we had great foreigner guests. It is an extraordinary project and I think that the relationship between school and family is extremely important for us, the students. I regret time passing by so fast! I think the project is a real success and it’s very helpful for us!

Alexandra Lucian –XI B
I think this project is very important for our education and I found amazing the way that three different cultures got together so well. I am sure that this project will have a beneficial impact on our life by improving the relationship between all parts involved in the educational process: teachers, students, parents and local community.

Cristina Surducan- XI B
It was the first project of this kind for me and I’m very glad I had this opportunity, to be involved in such activities. Although the time was so short we succeeded to learn new things. My opinion is that the most important thing was to identify the issues that affect somehow our evolution. It impressed me the fact that different communities, from different countries have the same problems and similar mentalities. So these days were great for me and I hope that our guests felt the same . Thank you, teachers, for giving us the chance to be part of this project; you managed to make us come with joy and happiness to school!

Reka Orban- XI B

My impressions after these days they are very strong in a positive way, because I found out new things about the relationship between school and family. I hope that together, in a big team, we will solve some difficulties encountered in this relationship. We had a really good time with our guests from Turkey and Estonia; I hope they will come back in the future! I’m glad that I’m involved in this project.

Xanta Lukacsovits- X E
This project offered me the opportunity of meeting new people, new cultures, and new mentalities. I liked the fact that we all worked together like a big team. I found out the importance of some words as EDUCATION and RESPECT. I am sure that this project will change our perspective about school and family and it will help us clarify a lot of aspects concerning the relationship between them.

Berrin Peker – Turkey
First of all, I am glad to be here. I loved the students and the teachers! From the first day I noticed that you are a very warm people and you behave very friendly. The project is very good, if we want to have a good generation coming, we have to work hard about our students and their problems. I hope we will solve difficulties this way. The students worked very hard these days! Thank you all!

Camelia Duta- Ro
Fiecare proiect ti se fixeaza in minte prin ceva anume iar acesta mi-a lasat in memorie zumzaitul si efervescenta salii de lucru. Am simtit efectiv cum schimbul de idei ridica tensiunea in sala, fiind prima data cand am vazut ca toti elevii isi pun mintea si sufletul in a produce ceva comun. Am trait greutatea producerii a ceva bun, agonia si extazul nasterii unor idei bune.

Denisa Pintea – XI G
It is true that I’ve been involved in many projects, but this one drew my attention in a particular way. That’s because the main idea of the project is extraordinary, it is about a matter that concerns us all: the relationship between teachers, student, and families. Together we can improve this relationship for the benefit of our future. There were three days full of activities, full of constructive ideas and we once again noticed the importance of working together as a team.

We hope that in that kind of cooperation our project will be a success.
